"After these 50 years, there are several songs that I have prepared to be released in 2021," said Rhoma Irama when met in Depok, West Java, not long ago.

This 74-year-old dangdut musician also gave a little hint about his latest work. Rhoma Irama admitted that his songs will still convey social and religious messages, which have become Rhoma and Soneta's trademark.

"God willing, the theme will remain the same, that music is not only for pleasure but also a responsibility towards God," he said.

2. Deadly Duet

In addition, he also mentioned that he will be open to the development of the times and adjust his music, but will still be filled with moral messages in each of his songs. Not only that, Rhoma Irama is also planning for the next duet with Rita Sugiarto and the Queen of Dangdut Elvy Sukaesih.

"In music, there is one principle and foundation, we must be creative, innovative, and up to date. We don't need to close our eyes to the development of world music, there must be a message, even if it's fun," he said.

"Then with Elvy, it's a duet that is the most harmonious, actually. Of course, I really miss doing a duet again and God willing, it will happen again in 2021," he concluded.
