Now, dangdut singer named Kiky Aprillia has a mission to further introduce this genre to a wider market. Kiky is a dangdut singer from Pati, Central Java who is inspired by the multi-talented artist Cinta Laura who has succeeded in her career in America.
"My idol is Cinta Laura. She is of Indonesian descent and has successfully gone international. I want to be like Cinta Laura and go international through dangdut. Even though dangdut is often underestimated by people, I want dangdut to be a source of pride for Indonesia," said Kiky.

To achieve her big dreams, this 20-year-old woman will release a new single in the near future. Not kidding, Kiky collaborates with a talented composer named Nurbayan to create the song.
"I want to release a single soon. Created by Nurbayan. It's still in the process of making the single. The title is Drama Cinta," she added.
Kiky started her career in the dangdut industry since 2009. Various awards have adorned her collection, which makes her more confident to pursue a career in the entertainment industry, specifically dangdut.
"Initially, it was just a hobby. Then it continued. I think this is my path to be known by many people and earn income," Kiky concluded.
