Dike Sabrina started her musical journey as a sinden since the first year of junior high school. In high school, she began to seriously enter the dangdut genre to expand her career opportunities in the music industry. This decision was made because she wanted to be more widely recognized and have the chance to perform in more places.

"I became a sinden since the first year of junior high school, switching to the dangdut genre in the first year of high school. So why did I choose to continue my career in dangdut? Because I want to be more known worldwide," she stated.

Although known as a dangdut singer and sinden, Dike Sabrina actually has a great interest in campursari music. She is also starting to be curious about exploring the pop genre as a new challenge in her career. According to Dike Sabrina, the transition from sinden to pop music is not easy because her vocal character is still very prominent.

"What I actually like to listen to is more towards campursari. But I also want to try moving towards pop. Because it's a big challenge, right? From sinden to be able to sing pop is a huge challenge. I've tried it, but it still feels like the sinden is still there. It's still with me," she explained.

Dike Sabrina admitted that several songs she performed went viral since 2022. One of the most memorable songs is "Opo Isih Ono" because it feels very relatable to her life. Every time she performs that song on stage, her emotions always take over, making it hard for her to hold back tears.

"The achievement of several songs that have gone viral in 2022. I once performed a song by Pakde Bas. The title is Opo Isih Ono. I don’t know why that song has some real stories that resonate with me. So when I perform it, I end up crying. The second song is Lungamu Ninggal Kenangan Dua. That song is from Om Ines. The last one is Tombo Kangen. It's a very old song mixed with Javanese. Who was the creator of that last one? It’s a song from the East, if I’m not mistaken," Dike revealed.

4. Unique Experience While Performing

Dike Sabrina had a unique experience while performing in Sumatra when the sole of her boots suddenly came off just before going on stage. This situation forced her to find a last-minute replacement shoe. Fortunately, she managed to find a borrowed pair of boots to wear for her performance. If not, she admitted she was ready to go on stage barefoot.

"I once had an orchestra event, and before that, I had never been accompanied by 150 pure orchestra musicians. It felt like, 'Can I do this?' but thankfully I could. The most unique experience was when I performed in Sumatra, and suddenly the sole of my boot came off just as I was about to go on stage. I had to borrow a pair of boots; luckily, I found some. If I hadn't, I would have gone barefoot," she recalled.

5. Chilling Mystical Incident

While still active as a wayang singer, Dike Sabrina experienced a mystical incident while performing at a Jaranan event. This experience caused her focus to waver on stage. She felt like she saw many people before her performance, but the atmosphere suddenly changed when she got on stage.

"There was a mystical experience. So there was one time I had a job that wasn't that big. Here it's called Jaranan. I'm very sensitive to things like that. So suddenly I was performing, kind of aware and unaware at the same time. I thought I saw a lot of people earlier. But when I climbed the stairs, there were no people like that. Chilling. That's why I'm a bit sensitive to those things. At that moment, I was just trying to focus, focus, focus. So that we don't... That's actually one of the things that makes us unfocused. Because we can't focus on ourselves. It's like we're a bit distracted by that. Distracted by this," she reminisced.

6. The Figure of Happy Asmara for Dike Sabrina

Being under the management of Happy Asmara makes Dike Sabrina feel greatly supported. She describes Happy as a loyal and caring figure towards her juniors. According to Dike Sabrina, Happy Asmara always encourages the team and her younger siblings to grow together in the world of dangdut music.

"Kak Happy is a good person. A very loyal person. And she cares for her younger siblings. So, if there's a job, Kak Happy always brings her younger siblings along. She embraces them, saying, 'Let's rise together,'" said Dike.

7. Unfulfilled Dreams

Behind her success as a singer, Dike Sabrina actually has a big dream for her family. She wants to send her parents to perform the pilgrimage (Hajj) in the near future. This goal has already begun to be planned and is hoped to be achieved within the next two years.

"I want to send my parents to perform Hajj. There is a target, God willing. I hope it goes smoothly. In two years, God willing," said Dike.

As a singer, Dike Sabrina also provides motivation for young people who are starting their careers. She emphasizes the importance of continuous learning and not giving up easily. According to her, the learning process will help someone grow and achieve the dreams they desire in the future.

"For Gen Z who are still trying to start or even those who have already started. The message is to keep the spirit of learning, so you can go from good to better, and even better. And to be recognized by the wider community as well, and maybe you all definitely have aspirations, oh I want to be like this, oh I want to be like Happy, oh I want to be like Mas Yuga, oh I want to be like someone else, and many more. Learn, learn, learn, keep the spirit," concluded Dike.
