Reaping Criticism for Being Accused of Offending Scholars, Evi Masamba Provides Clarification

Kapanlagi.com - Evi Masamba's recent Instagram post apparently received a lot of criticism from the public. This is because the D'Academy graduate singer is said to have offended scholars. In response to this misunderstanding, Evi finally speaks up.  

Before it was known, Evi Masamba mentioned that it is not necessary to have a bachelor's degree to develop an area. According to her, as long as there is sincere intention, even without a bachelor's degree, one can help the area.

1. Why Should You Get Offended?

Evi, who is constantly attacked by the public for being considered offensive to scholars, has provided clarification. Through her Instagram, she tries to clarify her words. 

"Assalamu alaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh, dear and smart netizens, I want to clarify from my post that offended you. Did I mean all scholars ruin their regions? Clearly not, because if you're offended, then you are part of those scholars. But if you're not, why should you get offended?" Evi Masamba wrote. 

2. Wanting to Return the Favor

Evi Masamba emphasizes that her desire to help her hometown is nothing more than returning the favor. For her, it is the people in that region who have made her who she is today.

"And remember, I am a SINGER chosen by the community, so I want to return the favor to the people who have made me who I am today, and you need to remember that EVI belongs to the community.
And I am nobody without the community," said Evi Masamba.

"And you should know, what I donated yesterday is nothing compared to what they have done for me. It is still not enough to repay them for sacrificing so much to make me a famous singer until now," she added.
