Reasons Clara Gopa Didn't Directly Confront Senior Artists Who Were Indirectly Criticized for Being Attention Seekers

Kapanlagi.com - Clara Gopa once made a video containing criticism towards a certain artist some time ago. In the video, the member of Duo Semangka mentioned the behavior of a senior artist who was not named.

During a conversation on KapanLagi On Air, last Tuesday (23/6), Clara herself admitted that she actually admired the person she criticized. However, her admiration changed recently.

"I have met, I have talked in one of the restaurants. We met and he was actually nice. At that time, I really admired him, but because of the recent incident, I felt like, 'should it be like this so that he can be recognized again'" she said.

"I mean, even without doing that (attention seeking), the entire Indonesian society already knows him. So, we shouldn't let this extraordinary person in our eyes become like 'why is it like this', a little bit uncomfortable," continued the dangdut singer from Malang.

1. Seniors Should Set a Good Example

According to Clara, because they understand the entertainment industry in the country better, a senior artist should be able to set a good example for their juniors.

"Personally, as a senior and a legend who understands the entertainment industry, I believe they should set a good example for their juniors," she explained.

2. No Phone Number

When asked why she didn't directly confront the person she was criticizing, Clara had her own answer. She admitted that she didn't have access to communicate directly.

"We did meet before, but I don't have their phone number or any contact information. But I don't think it's fair to call me attention-seeking. I'm speaking out because I honestly feel offended by the comments that judge an artist solely based on performing in front of the president," she concluded.
