The report was filed on May 19, 2025, and includes several song titles, including Cinta Bukanlah Kapal and Bagai Ranting Yang Kering, which are alleged to have been performed by Lesti since 2017.

Lesti Kejora's legal counsel, Sadrakh Seskoadi, finally spoke out regarding this polemic. He claimed to have learned about this report not from the police.

"We heard about the report against Ms. Lesti Kejora from news reports and/or broadcasts by the media," said Sadrakh Seskoadi in a statement received by KapanLagi.com on Thursday (22/5/2025).

Sadrakh urged all parties to act wisely and wait for the ongoing legal process.

"Through this explanation, we as the legal counsel for Ms. Lesti Kejora ask all parties to wait for further clarity on the developments of this case so that it does not become a misleading and unaccountable news report," he added.

He emphasized that his side is still in the process of studying the report submitted by Yoni Dores to the police. They have also not provided any substantial response before obtaining complete information.

"That with the ‘presumption of innocence’ we are still waiting for developments in the ongoing legal process and are also still studying the basis of the report by Mr. Yonni Dores," he asserted.
