The Remaining Representative of Brunei in DAA6, Izzat Ramlee Holds Back Longing for Family to Achieve Dreams

Kapanlagi.com - Izzat Ramlee, the representative of Brunei Darussalam in the Dangdut Academy Asia 6 event, initially did not pass the audition. However, he did not lose hope.

The first failure became a lesson for Izzat to hone his ability in singing dangdut.

"I participated in DAA 4 before but didn't pass, and now I tried again and Alhamdulillah I was accepted," said Izzat Ramlee when talking to Kapanlagi.com, Monday (7/8/2023).

Izzat's struggle was not in vain. He is now the only representative from Brunei Darussalam who is still surviving and entered the Top 9 of Dangdut Academy Asia 6.

In facing the competition in the Top 9, Izzat hopes to be able to maintain his physical condition to be in prime condition, so as not to affect his performance on stage.

"The remaining participants are undoubtedly great and difficult to predict. But Izzat must remain focused and the most important thing is to maintain his health," he said.

Support from family, according to Izzat, is also very important for him to perform well on the DAA 6 stage.

"Before performing, we video call each other. If it's destined, hopefully my family will come here to support me," he said.

2. Longing Held Back for a Long Time

Furthermore, Izzat admitted that during the DAA 6 competition, he had been longing for his family. However, he was able to endure it for the sake of his dream, which is to become a successful singer and make his parents proud.

"Of course, I miss my parents, but when I think about it, my goal in competing is to become a successful singer and make my parents proud. So, I hold back my longing, especially since (DAA 6) won't last long. I can satisfy that longing later," he said.
