Viral Blessings Video, 10 Photos of Dewi Perssik Sacrificing 17 Cows in Three Cities During Eid al-Adha

The dangdut singer Dewi Perssik once again shows her concern for others through this year's Eid al-Adha moment. She is known to have sacrificed a total of 17 cows in three different locations: Jakarta, Kranjingan, and Jember.

In Jakarta, Dewi personally handed over two cows for sacrifice. Meanwhile, in the other two areas, she entrusted the procurement of the sacrificial animals to the assisting parties.

"I just gave the money, they informed me that they had gotten five cows, and I said okay. Then in Kranjingan, they only got 10 cows, so I just handed over the money. The cows were managed by the committee in Jember," said Dewi Perssik when met at her residence in the Lebak Bulus area, South Jakarta, on Friday (6/6/2025).

The number of sacrificial animals given by Depe is a result of the abundance of blessings she has received lately. She does not deny that her blessings have actually come from unexpected things, including from the viral video that is often used as a source of jokes by netizens.

"Not only Pica-Pica (the song I once sang), but many others (blessings). I don’t know, maybe the fortune from God is always there. I came here, people give, even though they call me, 'Miss Ambon is here,' so it’s all kinds of things," said Dewi.

The various nicknames given by netizens are not always negative for Dewi. She actually sees it as part of the dynamics of her life as a public figure.

"Jajaraji, yes, all kinds of things. So, those nicknames actually bring fortune, you know, and I also don’t know, it just happens that people call me like that," she said.

Instead of being offended, Depe chose to be grateful for all the attention that comes her way. She believes that as long as it has a positive financial impact, there’s no need to respond with anger.

"But they give me jobs like that, Sis. So, I just feel grateful. That's why if I don't throw a tantrum, it's because I'm getting money, you know," she said.

The virality of Dewi on social media lately is often accompanied by quirky comments from the public. Nevertheless, she chooses to take the positive side from every incident that occurs.

"Yes, logically if I'm insulted I don't get money, right, Sis. But if I'm insulted and I get money, then I just enjoy it. Right?" said the singer of 'Hikayat Cinta'.

Depe also realizes that some of the blessings she receives are entrusted to be shared with others. She believes that the good deeds she does will always come back to her in another form.

"The logic is like this, Mas, right in front of me I'm given money, given this, well, that's it, it's like, oh Allah, this is extraordinary, I'm given blessings, but this, you see, is purely not mine, but belongs to them. So, part of my wealth belongs to them, so I just transfer it to the account, take it out again, put it back in the account, take it out again," she concluded.
