The dangdut group named Duo Anggrek expressed gratitude for the success of their song, Cikini Gondangdia which went viral on the TikTok social media platform. Duo Anggrek consists of two personnel named Devay & Putri. This duo often performs dangdut remix songs and several variations of contemporary dangdut music.Â
"Alhamdulillah, since the viral phenomenon of the song "Cikini Gondangdia" Duo Anggrek's performance schedule has become quite busy. Not only off-air events but also on-air on television," said Devay, agreed by Putri.
Every time they perform, Devay said that the event organizers always ask them to sing the song "Cikini Gondangdia" which was created by Jaya Shalwa and Yogi RPH.
"So it's like a mandatory song. If there's an invitation to perform, there's always a special request to sing the song Cikini Gondangdia. Maybe because the song went viral on TikTok," said Devay.
Since the past few weeks, the song 'Cikini Gondangdia' with its rhyming lyrics has been viral.
Every moment, the usage views of the song on TikTok continue to increase. Even artists are joining the trend of using this song as a background sound, one of them is Ayu Dewi.
"It's definitely exciting that this song has gone viral, even though it was released back in 2015 and only now it's viral," said Putri.
