The funeral of Prince Philip, held on Saturday (17/4/2021), was attended by only 30 people, including relatives, friends, and members of the British royal family, at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle. The coffin was carried out after a series of ceremonial events involving over 700 military personnel as a tribute to Prince Philip, who was a part of the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, British Army, and Royal Air Force during his lifetime.
The Duke of Edinburgh's flag, sword, naval cap, and Queen Elizabeth's chosen bouquet adorned the casket of Prince Philip as it was carried from Windsor Castle in a procession led by the Band of the Grenadier Guards.
Instead of the usual black car used in royal funerals, the body was transported to St. George's Chapel in a distinctive green Land Rover designed by Prince Philip himself.

Considering the current pandemic situation, Prince Philip's funeral procession was only attended by 30 people. Meghan, who is pregnant with their second child, was absent as she was not allowed to fly from the United States.
After a series of readings and choir songs, the Duke's coffin was lowered into the Royal Vault, a cuboid-shaped burial place for members of the royal family located beneath the chapel.
