The marriage of Cardi B and Offset has not been well for a long time. In 2020, the real name Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar filed for divorce, but it was canceled.

Cardi B filed for divorce from her husband on Wednesday (31/7). Nevertheless, Offset remains responsible for faithfully accompanying Cardi B during the birth.

Cardi B stated that one of her main priorities after filing for divorce from Offset is to obtain custody of their child. In her announcement on Instagram, Cardi B emphasized that she feels she can have it all without having to choose between life, love, and ambition.

"Every ending is a new beginning! I am very grateful to share this season with you all. You have given me more love, more life, and most importantly, renewed my strength," wrote Cardi B.
