"In February, when my pregnancy reached eight months, I was diagnosed with a large blood clot in my brain," Gal Gadot wrote in an Instagram post on Monday (30/12/2024).
"For weeks, I endured excruciating headaches that forced me to stay in bed, until I finally underwent an MRI that revealed that horrifying reality," she continued.
Gal Gadot finally decided to go to the hospital and undergo surgery. "We rushed to the hospital, and a few hours later, I underwent emergency surgery," said Gal Gadot.
Gadot gave birth to her daughter, Ori, amidst her poor health condition. There is a reason why Gal Gadot and her husband named her Ori, which means light.
"Before the surgery, I told Jaron that when our daughter was born, she would be the light waiting for me at the end of this tunnel," said Gal Gadot.
Gadot now feels grateful for the life that has been given back to her. "This journey has taught me many things. First, it is very important to listen to our bodies and trust what they are telling us," she wrote.
