Three years after Dylan Meyer proposed to Kristen Stewart, the couple has finally officially married. They held a private wedding on Easter Sunday at Casita Del Campo, a Mexican restaurant located in Los Angeles.
The event was attended by family and close friends, including Ashley Benson and Cj Romero. According to TMZ, there was no lavish wedding dress at the moment.
Kristen and Dylan chose to appear in a casual yet fashionable style, wearing bright-colored outfits. Dylan wore a thin cream mini dress with a black ribbon in her hair, while Kristen donned a patterned gray jacket paired with a matching mini skirt and a white top.
Their relationship began in the summer of 2019. Just a few months later, Kristen was already confident that Dylan was the right person for her. In her interview with Howard Stern, Kristen said, “The day I met him, everything changed. I felt like, ‘Where has he been all this time?’
Kristen also revealed that she is very eager to propose to Dylan, even though she tries to stay reasonable. “I want to remain realistic, but I think good things do happen quickly,” she said. She added that she cannot leak her plans because she doesn’t want Dylan to find out beforehand.
For Kristen, her desire to marry Dylan is not due to social pressure or specific traditions, but rather personal conviction. “This isn’t about following any rules or conventions; it’s about feelings. If you know, you know,” she explained.
Two years later, Kristen appeared again on the Howard Stern show and confirmed that they are engaged. “We are getting married, and this is really going to happen,” she said. She also mentioned that she wanted Dylan to propose, and he managed to do it perfectly.
In January 2022, Kristen shared with Stephen Colbert that they do not plan to have a big wedding. She admitted she is not the type of person who enjoys formal ceremonies. “I want to throw a big party or something, but not a ceremony that’s too formal,” she said.
And indeed, that is what they did. The Christian wedding of Kristen and Dylan took place simply yet warmly.
