In that post, Louis stated that Liam is an extraordinary figure whom he admired for his voice the moment they first met. He also revealed that Liam is the most important person for the music group One Direction.
"Liam is an amazing songwriter. We often talk about going back to the studio together to try and create the songwriting we developed in the band," said Louis Tomlinson.
"In my opinion, Liam is the most vital part of One Direction. His experience from a young age, the perfect pitch, and his talent for writing. Thank you for shaping us, Liam." he continued.

In addition to expressing his deep sorrow over the death of his friend, the singer of the song Back to You also wrote a heartfelt and valuable short message so that Liam Payne could feel the contents of the letter he wrote.
"I feel so lucky to have you in my life, but I am really struggling to say goodbye. I am grateful that we were close since the band, talking on the phone for hours, and reminiscing about all the thousands of amazing memories we shared is a luxury that I thought I would have with you for a lifetime," wrote Louis Tomlinson.
The 32-year-old singer also affirmed that he is ready to be the uncle who is always there for Bear, Liam Payne's child, whenever he needs him.
"I want you to know that if Bear needs me, I will be the uncle he needs in his life and tell him how great his father was," revealed Louis Tomlinson.
"I wish I had the chance to say goodbye and tell you once again how much I love you," he concluded.
It is known that Liam Payne passed away at the age of 31 on Wednesday (16/10) after falling from the balcony of the 3rd floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This deep sense of regret and longing reflects how much their friendship meant, even though life's paths took them in different directions after the breakup of One Direction.
