In this divorce process, it was revealed that Jennifer Lopez will keep the engagement ring given by Affleck, which is valued at around Rp 81 billion (US$ 5 million) and consists of an 8.5-carat natural green diamond.
"Green diamonds are among the hardest to cut, and diamonds like this may take a year or more to plan and cut to reflect the best possible cut and color," said a diamond expert as reported by PEOPLE.
The ring not only has high material value but also emotional significance. Affleck engraved the words "not going anywhere" on the ring, reflecting his commitment as they rekindled their relationship.
In the divorce documents, Ben Affleck waived all rights and ownership of the personal assets owned by Jennifer Lopez.
Both agreed to no spousal support. They will also retain the assets they individually acquired during the marriage.
Although the divorce marks the end of their relationship, Lopez and Affleck remain on good terms, especially regarding the raising of their children. They married in July 2022.
