Slayer and Exodus Guitarist, Gary Holt Tests Positive for Coronavirus

Kapanlagi.com - Another Hollywood public figure has been tested positive for the coronavirus, namely Gary Holt. The guitarist from the metal bands Slayer and Exodus had previously been feeling sick for a few days and began showing typical symptoms of the coronavirus.

As reported by Rollingstones.com. Gary then decided to undergo a test with his wife, Lisa, on March 20, 2020. And after waiting for almost 2 weeks, the results showed that Gary was indeed positive for the coronavirus.

"So I just received the results of my test and it turns out to be positive. Lisa (my wife) tested negative," he wrote in a post on Instagram that has now been deleted.

1. Gary Holt's Condition Now 100% Healthy

Interestingly, after being tested positive for corona, Gary's condition is now much healthier. He no longer experiences the symptoms of illness as he did a few weeks ago. However, he still has to self-isolate at home for some time.

"It feels like it's been a long time since I started showing symptoms of illness, now I'm free to do things that I couldn't do before, like buying my own groceries. I feel healthy, I have gone through the hardest times and my health feels 100% normal. Thank you to everyone who has prayed for us to be okay. Now it's time to get back to working on some parts of the new EXODUS song, as long as I still have to stay stuck at home," he continued.

As is known, Holt recently toured Europe with Exodus for the Bay Strikes Back tour. Some other band members and crew members were tested and most of them were exposed to the corona virus, or at least under observation.

2. Testament's Vocalist Also Positive for Corona

Previously, the vocalist of the Metal band Testament, Chuck Billy, revealed that he and his wife were also declared positive for corona. However, just like Gary, after waiting for about 2 weeks and the results came out positive, Billy's condition was even much healthier.

"They didn't give us any treatment. So we just went along. We were lucky to have friends and family who were willing to buy us groceries and food here and there," said Chuck Billy on Rollingstones.com
