WeTV Indonesia together with MD Entertainment announced the premiere of WeTV Original PACARKU JINNY on December 26, 2024. This series is a special year-end presentation that combines elements of fantasy and romantic comedy, ready to take viewers into a captivating love story across different worlds.

Directed by Anggy Umbara, PACARKU JINNY tells the story of Lila, a beautiful genie stranded on Earth with her assistant, Krissy. Losing her magical bracelet as her means of transportation, Lila must find a way back to her original world before time runs out.

A lineup of stars such as Caitlin Halderman, Ria Ricis, Anrez Adelio, Rebecca Klopper, Kevin Faulky, and Devina Kirana adorn this series. With 10 episodes filled with humor and beautiful visuals, PACARKU JINNY promises an exciting and entertaining viewing experience.

Febriamy Hutapea, Country Head of WeTV Indonesia, at the press conference held at MD Entertainment on Monday (23/12/2024), revealed that this series carries a deep message about love.

"WeTV Original PACARKU JINNY offers a new perspective on love, reminding us of the magic of true love that is often forgotten," said Febriamy. Here are the details.

He added that the end of the year is the perfect time to present meaningful entertainment. "In this end-of-year moment, we want to spread more love to the community. That love, despite unexpected differences, always finds its way. We hope this series is warmly received by the audience," he continued.

Manoj Punjabi, CEO and Producer of MD Entertainment, also shared his enthusiasm for this series. "MY GIRLFRIEND JINNY is a work that combines a unique story with elements of fantasy and romantic comedy that entertains. We want to present something fresh for Indonesian viewers," he said.

Manoj emphasized that this story is not just entertainment, but also touches the emotional side of the audience. "We hope this series not only entertains but also provides a heartfelt experience through the love journey of its characters," he added.

Carrying a dilemma love story between a genie and a human, this series also presents a complex yet light conflict. Lila must choose between saving her own life or maintaining her true love, Andra, a producer who turns out to hold the key to her existence in the human world.

Lila, played by Caitlin Halderman, must find her magical bracelet within 100 days to return to her world. However, this journey is filled with surprises when she realizes that Andra is the mysterious man she has been searching for all along. In the midst of her struggle, Lila is faced with a difficult choice that could determine her fate.

With the stunning performances of its cast and a unique story, MY GENIE BOY is expected to be a favorite show to fill the year-end holidays. This series premieres starting December 26, 2024, every Wednesday and Thursday at 6:00 PM WIB, only on WeTV.
