AGAK LAEN: MY LIGHTED PANTIKU Becomes the Best-Selling Indonesian Film of All Time

This achievement was directly confirmed by the producer of Imajinari, Ernest Prakasa. He mentioned that the number of viewers for Agak Laen 2 has surpassed the Jumbo record, which previously concluded its screening period with a total of 10.233 million viewers. As of Friday night, Agak Laen 2 has recorded approximately 10.250 million viewers, and this number still has the potential to continue increasing.

Ernest Prakasa also shared this happy news through a video post of a film scene on social media. In his statement, he wrote, "The Best-Selling Indonesian Film of All Time. 10,250,000++ viewers have helped set this record."

Furthermore, Ernest dedicates this achievement to all parties involved in the film production process. "I dedicate this achievement to all the crew & cast who have devoted their skills to this work. Congratulations, friends, we have just made history. Thank you to the Indonesian cinema audience. Thank you very much. This is all your doing," wrote Ernest Prakasa.

Congratulations also flowed in from several filmmakers in the country. Director Hanung Bramantyo wrote, "Congratulations once again. Amazing! Amazing! Amazing!" Meanwhile, senior producer Mira Lesmana also expressed appreciation with the comment, "Woohoo! Congrats all cast and crew! Bravo!"

Not only that, the production house Visinema Studios also conveyed congratulations through its official Instagram account for the success of Agak Laen: Menyala Pantiku! which has managed to displace Jumbo from the top. The film Agak Laen Menyala Pantiku is now the most watched in Indonesia and has become the highest-grossing Indonesian film of all time!" wrote Visinema.

Currently, the list of the highest-grossing Indonesian films of all time is led by Agak Laen: Menyala Pantiku! with approximately 10.25 million viewers. The second position is occupied by Jumbo, followed by KKN di Desa Penari in third place. With the number of showtimes still above 1,600 screens, the viewer count for Agak Laen 2 is predicted to continue to increase.

Not only is it the highest-grossing Indonesian film of all time, AGAK LAEN: MENYALA PANTIKU also saw a revenue increase of 12.6% from the first film. And that’s just up to the 37th day!
