"Actually, the flip celebration wasn’t in the script; I just wanted to do it when I scored, everyone was shouting, 'ah flip ah'," said Ali at a press conference at Metropole XXI, Tuesday (1/9/2026).
Previously, Ocay had only asked Ali to show a metal symbol with his hands every time the character scored a goal. However, when the camera started rolling, Ali opted for a more expressive celebration with the flip, making that moment a highlight during the match scene.

Witnessing the improvisation firsthand, Ocay admitted he was surprised. As a director, he places primary importance on the safety of the actors during the shooting process, especially when physical actions are performed in the midst of a dynamic game rhythm.
"From my side, if something goes wrong, it can be a disaster, oh man, we have to stop or whatever," said Ocay.
His concerns began to ease when Ocay saw that Ali was quite skilled at executing the somersault. This assessment made him more relaxed in arranging the next shots without holding back the celebratory expressions that had already developed on the field.
From that moment on, Ocay allowed creative freedom for Ali to continue showcasing his celebratory style throughout the production process. As long as all safety elements were maintained and did not disrupt the flow of shooting, the improvisation was given space to proceed consistently.
"Turns out he's good, so just keep doing that. Until his video has him spinning around, whatever, it’s up to him. The important thing is safety," Ocay added.
