Amara Sophie Experiences Mystical Events While Filming 'I MUST DIE', Possessed and Bruised

Shocking news comes from the beautiful actress Amara Sophie during the filming of her latest horror movie titled 'I MUST DIE'. While at the shooting location in Yogyakarta, she claims to have experienced a series of bizarre incidents that significantly disturbed her physical condition.

Amara shared that the disturbances were not only strange sounds but also had a direct impact on her body. She discovered bruises on several parts of her legs that appeared mysteriously after she felt "possessed" by a supernatural being at the accommodation where she was staying.

Weird occurrences at the lodging also became a separate terror for Amara. She often heard loud banging noises on the door in the early hours, but the hotel management provided explanations that she found to be unreasonable.

"The leg is really bad. Like the thigh, there are several thighs, and then like the calves and such. But I have been told like 'wange' and stuff. But I just didn't want to believe it," said Amara Sophie when met at XXI Epicentrum, South Jakarta, Thursday (26/3/2026).

"That's why in the end, because I didn't want to believe it, and I didn't want to find out either, but it can't be denied because it keeps happening, so I just accepted it," she added.

In addition to physical wounds, the disturbances also carried over to the subconscious. The film star recounted her restless sleep experiences due to often dreaming of seeing herself from a very strange perspective, like through a surveillance camera.

"And it's like I often dream like a CCTV, you know. My dream isn't like other dreams, so my dream is like, for example, we are here, and it looks like CCTV watching me like this. The only difference is that in my sleep, I see myself sleeping with whatever creatures are there," she revealed.

"So every night there, I feel like I'm being knocked really hard. Then I tell the hotel staff, like 'what is this?', and they say 'it's a rat'. But it doesn't make sense because the knocking is really intense," explained the actress playing Tiwi.

This continuous disturbance has drained her energy completely while on the shooting location. Amara feels that the creature following her has a very exhausting impact on her body as a whole.

The film I Must Die produced by Rollink Action is scheduled to be released in theaters starting April 2, 2026. In addition to Amara Sophie, the film also stars Hana Saraswati, Prasetya Agni, and is directed by Hestu Saputra.
