Based on a True Story, Horror Film 'BLOODY PENDANT' to be Released on YouTube Platform

Jungkie chose to release the film BLOODY PENDANT through the YouTube application service. Not without reason, Jungkie Agung's step is his contribution as a filmmaker to provide quality entertainment for free.

"In this digital era, YouTube is one of the targets of public consumption and maybe we are directing towards YouTube because we want quality movies on YouTube," said the director in a press release received by KapanLagi.com.

The film, which will be released on April 19, 2022, will feature new names, starting from Pipu, Davichi, Ivanna, Alwan, Hany, Chepy, Chelsea, Nadya, and many others. Although there is no detailed leak about the story of the film yet, what is clear is that BLOODY PENDANT itself is based on a true story.

"A love triangle story that ends in tragedy, for more details, just wait for the release," said Agung.

In bringing the horror story from a true story, Jungkie Agung admitted that he faced difficulties in writing and character development. Not only that, in order to get maximum results, he even had to know exactly the figure of the supernatural being in the film.

"In writing, I really had to delve into all the characters, even to the point of knowing the figure of the supernatural being," he said.

Like most other horror movie shoots, there were also mystical incidents encountered during the production process of BLOODY PENDANT. Even Agung mentioned that he had seen a mysterious creature that was a ghostly figure in the film.

"Many strange incidents beyond our expectations and the haunting figure is a ghostly figure in the movie Bloody Pendant," said Agung.

Not targeting the number of viewers, but Jungkie Agung hopes that his film will be accepted by the wider community.

"We don't have a specific target number, but a work that we have poured into is a pride of our own and we hope that our work will be accepted by the wider community later on," concluded Agung.
