Being the Main Character in the Film 'GALAXY', Bryan Domani Admits to Feeling Pressured by the Pro and Con from Novel Readers

Kapanlagi.com - Bryan Domani was chosen to play Galaksi Aldebaran in the film adaptation of the popular novel titled GALAXY. The character is depicted as the leader of a school gang named Ravispa.

To get the role, Bryan had to go through a screen test process. He had to wait for more than a month to finally receive the news that he was accepted.

"At the beginning of the process, I had to do a screen test first. I wasn't informed for over a month until suddenly I received a phone call. Alhamdulillah (Thank God), I was chosen to play Galaksi," Bryan said when met at Epicentrum XXI, Rasuna Said area, South Jakarta, on Monday (21/8/2023).

Before the shooting process of GALAKSI begins, the production house announced the stars involved. Immediately, Bryan Domani's social media was flooded by Galaksi fans. They felt that Bryan was not suitable.

"I feel quite pressured to be involved in this film because the fans are very enthusiastic about the story. They are detail-oriented. When the cast reveal happened, oh well, just accept the reality. I don't blame them for that because the readers' expectations have no pictures and are based on imagination, there are no limitations," Bryan said.

2. Choosing the Cast

However, thanks to the trust of the producers, directors, and the actors involved, Bryan Domani believes that he can portray Galaksi's character. He also believes in the saying that sometimes, the role chooses the actor, not the other way around.

"It's also about destiny. Sometimes, the character chooses its actor. No matter how tough the casting is, if it's meant to be, you won't get it. When you feel like something is missing during the casting, then you get it," Bryan concluded.
