1. Film Synopsis 'SLEEP CALL'

This film begins with the story of the main character, Dina (Laura Basuki), who is a former flight attendant and is now trapped in the dark world of illegal online loans (pinjol). This burdens her life even more. Previously, Dina was portrayed as a traumatized and lonely figure.

She tries to find pleasure in her life through an interesting dating application that catches her attention, as she feels that the application can drive away the loneliness that haunts her. Through this dating application, Dina meets Rama (Juan Bio One). Rama, who is charming yet mysterious, captivates Dina. They often communicate through late-night calls, or what we commonly call Sleep Call.

The intense communication between Dina and Rama brings happiness to Dina. It makes her forget the sadness and problems she faces, unconsciously leading them to an addictive yet complicated relationship.

As time goes by, the once enjoyable sleep calls for Dina turn into tense situations. She often receives terrifying sleep calls that disturb her peace of mind. And in the end, these sleep calls cause a loss of life and leave behind a mystery.
