Ready to Release! Film 'MEANINGFUL MESSAGE VOLUME III' Portrays the Bitter Sweetness of a Judge's Household

Kapanlagi.com - Following the success of the previous two films, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia is ready to release MEANINGFUL MESSAGE VOLUME III. This drama presentation can be watched starting from August 19, 2023, coinciding with its seventy-eighth anniversary.

The storyline in the third entry continues the life of Dimas (Donny Alamsyah) as a judge. The difference is, now he has built a household with a woman named Kemala.

"The first film was an introduction to Dimas and his mother. The second film was a complicated romance with pressure. In the third film, we show a new side of Dimas as a judge who is also a husband. Where his household is intertwined with a case," said Orista Primadewa, the director, during an interview at KLY Youniverse, Gondangdia area, Central Jakarta, on Monday (14/8).

1. Long in Screenplay Writing

Furthermore, Orista Priamdewa revealed the process behind the scenes of making PESAN BERMAKNA JILID III. Apparently, the writing of the screenplay requires a lot of adjustments considering that it is adapted from the novel by D.Y. Witanto titled EUTHANASIA.

"The shooting was quite fast, only four days. The long part was in the story-making process. Because we have a source that serves as a reference for this film, so we had to make some adjustments and it took a long time to build the drama while still staying true to the original story," said Orista.

2. Court Location Fulfills Visual Needs

The shooting location for PESAN BERMAKNA JILID III is the same as the second film, which is Purwokerto for continuity purposes. However, the location used as the courtroom is actually at the Purbalingga District Court. What is the reason?

"The shooting was indeed in Purwokerto, but we used Purbalingga for the courtroom. Because when we surveyed the courtroom, it was a cultural heritage site, so you can see how aesthetic it is. The front facade really looks like a Dutch-era building, so it's visually pleasing," explained Orista Primadewa.
