Bene Dion Surprised by the Crowd at CFD Jakarta 'AGAK LAEN'

Bene Dion Rajagukguk and his friends took to the streets wearing ghost costumes, fulfilling a vow while also raising funds for humanitarian efforts.

The overwhelming enthusiasm of the crowd exceeded expectations, leaving Bene Dion astonished. This Batak comedian admitted he did not expect that their presence would be welcomed so warmly by the people of Jakarta who were out exercising.

"Yes, so... we were surprised. We really thought, well, it's Car Free Day, and I, as the Creepy Nurse, thought I would just skateboard to make it fun. But there were already so many people passing by. It was like, wow, it's so crowded. I didn't expect it to be that lively," he said when met in Senayan, Central Jakarta, Sunday (14/12/2025).

"So it’s like... the audience is REALLY HUMAN, not some supernatural beings. It turns out when we said 'We are here', they all came in droves. I was shocked," Bene expressed humorously.

Regarding the Crawling Nun costume he wore, Bene explained that it refers to the character they played in the first film. This crazy idea came up spontaneously while they were doing a live broadcast on social media.

"I forgot. Anyway, it was like H-3 or something, we were live... Oki was actually live on Instagram. The four of us joined in because we were doing nothing. Then the promise came up, 'Alright, let's do Car Free Day wearing ghost costumes but for donations'," he explained.

3. Forcing Producers and Directors

This act of solidarity not only involves the actors, but also the producers and directors who were 'forced' to participate in order to feel the same struggle.

"Because we feel like... they think just because they're the producers, the directors don't want to bother, they want it easy. So we said, 'We will agree if the Director and Producer also join in,'" concluded Bene.
