'BONNIE' Officially Released on Vidio, Showcasing Livi Ciananta's Debut Action

BONNIE tells the story of a high school girl named Bonnie who excels in martial arts but uses her abilities to uphold justice. The story begins in Bonnie's childhood when her father, Sambara (played by Aryo Wahab), becomes involved in a bloody conflict between gangsters.

The feud continues, making Bonnie and her mother victims. To protect herself, Bonnie grows up with a strong determination to master martial arts. Living in an environment filled with violence, Bonnie, as a woman, strives not to become a victim of gangsters and delinquent kids.

The conflict escalates when Bonnie discovers her father Sambara's and mother Kinanti's past. It turns out that her parents have an old enemy named Paul, a ruthless gangster leader who holds a grudge against Bonnie's family because of the death of her brother, Malik, in a land dispute nine years ago. Sambara ultimately also died in that fight.

Now, innocent Bonnie must face Paul's grudge. She is trapped in a situation that forces her to confront a gangster leader with far greater power. This film not only features thrilling action scenes but also presents dialogues filled with literary language, adding depth to the story.

2. A Different Action Film

This film presents a different kind of action compared to typical Indonesian action films. The martial arts choreography in this film is very challenging, involving around 1200 stunt performers working under the guidance of the All Star Team Indonesia, led by Fandy Fight as Action Director. The high level of difficulty in the action scenes makes this film a must-watch for action enthusiasts.

Livi Ciananta, previously known as a young social media influencer, makes her big screen debut by playing the main character, Bonnie. To prepare for this role, Livi underwent intensive martial arts training for three months, with training schedules of up to eight hours a day. She is excited about this opportunity and ready to prove her abilities in the acting world.

In addition to Livi Ciananta, the film also features senior actors and actresses like Nadila Ernesta, who plays the antagonist character. This role presents a new challenge for Nadila, who must step out of her comfort zone to portray an evil and cruel character. The film also stars other well-known actors such as Reza Hilman, Bedu, Mike Lucock, Max Metino, Aryo Wahab, Ruth Marini, and Indra Birowo.
