'BUMI MANUSIA' Streaming Release, Mawar de Jongh Happy to be Entertainment During the Pandemic

BUMI MANUSIA is a romantic drama set in the colonial era. This film directed by Hanung Bramantyo successfully attracted 1.3 million viewers during its circulation last year.

Adapted from the novel by Pramoedya Ananta Toer, it tells the story of Minke (played by Iqbaal Ramadhan), a native young man who falls in love with a Dutch-Indonesian girl named Annelies. Unfortunately, their love is hindered by the arrogance of colonial law.
