"In my opinion, this film is very important. This film is a voice. This film is a hope. That we cannot act arbitrarily against power. This film is a symbol of resistance against those who abuse power," he said.

Portraying the character Jonathan, he admitted that he often gets carried away by emotions when delving into the journey of a father struggling between hope and anger.

"I am a father. I don't understand how it feels to be Jo at that moment. In the end, I truly felt it when I played Jo. That feeling is not acting," he explained.

3. Experiencing Emotional Pressure

During the filming process, which mostly took place in a hospital, Chicco experienced significant emotional pressure.

"The deeper I delved, the more I immersed myself and portrayed Jonathan, the more I became and the more I felt what the pain was like. What was being fought for at that time," he said.

4. Always Hugging His Child Every Time He Comes Home from Filming

The experience even carried over to home. Chicco admitted that he always hugs his child every time he comes home from filming due to feelings of gratitude as well as fear about the things that could happen to his little one.

"Tired. And that feeling carries over to home. When I get home, I immediately hug my child," he said.

The director, Anggy Umbara, also stated that this film was made as a reflection space for the public. He emphasized that David Ozora's story is not just a tragedy, but a social alarm against aggressive behavior and the power imbalances that still often occur around us.

Muzakki, who plays David Ozora, also shared his experience after meeting David in person. He felt amazed to see how David was able to reconcile with his past trauma.
