Comeback Playing Film, Amanda Manopo Struggles Hard to Release Andin's Character in the Soap Opera 'IKATAN CINTA'

Kapanlagi.com - Amanda Manopo leaves the soap opera IKATAN CINTA after more than two years of joining. She then decided to make a comeback to the film world through a horror film titled INDIGO.

With her involvement in the production of the film, Amanda tries to release the character from the soap opera. It cannot be denied that the character Andin has strongly attached to the public's mind.

"In this film, I met an acting coach who helped me develop my character to be more mature. So that I don't bring my previous character that has already attached because fans will definitely remember. I did change a lot in that aspect," said Amanda when met in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta, last Friday.

1. Physical Changes Apart from Andin

Not only in terms of acting, since leaving the soap opera IKATAN CINTA, Amanda Manopo has also started to change her appearance. One of them is by growing her hair.

"I left the soap opera in January, then filmed a movie in April. In those three months, I lost quite a significant amount of weight, about six kilos. I also grew my hair. There are many things I changed," said Amanda.

2. Intentionally Accepting Different Projects

Apart from the soap opera that made her famous, Amanda Manopo wants to further improve her acting skills. That's why she wants to take on challenging roles.

"After leaving a character, as public figures, we have to be able to let go of it. But it all takes time. It's indeed my willingness and there happens to be an upcoming project that I intentionally took. The character I will portray is no longer a mother, mostly around the age of 24-25," Amanda firmly stated.
