Sad News, Ari Wibowo and Ira Wibowo Reveal Their Father's Peaceful Passing

Kapanlagi.com - Sad news is enveloping the family of siblings Ira Wibowo and Ari Wibowo. Their father, Wibowo Wirjodiprodjo, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 18:30 WIB. The body was buried at Taman Makam Pahlawan (TMP) Kalibata, South Jakarta, on Sunday (15/10).

The funeral process was very emotional. Ari Wibowo and Ira Wibowo were seen accompanying the departure of their beloved father. Ira Wibowo stated that her father's passing was not due to a specific illness but rather because of his age, which was already 94 years old.

"Coincidentally, Papa lived at my house, and he wasn't sick. He didn't have any serious illness or feel any pain. It was simply due to his age, as he was already 94 years old, and he was getting weaker day by day," said Ira Wibowo after her father's funeral.

1. Last Memory with Father

Ira Wibowo also recounted her last memory with her father before he passed away. She hugged and kissed her father.

"Yesterday morning, when I was about to leave, Papa was still very affectionate and said in German, 'I love you so much.' Papa said, 'Sun, give me a hug.' Papa loved eating spaghetti carbonara the most. I asked, 'What do you want me to bring you later, Papa? Do you want spaghetti carbonara?' Usually, he would be enthusiastic. But this time, he lowered his head and shook it. 'Do you want durian?' He lowered his head and shook it," said Ira Wibowo.

"So I already felt that something was different than usual. That's why I immediately contacted Ari, and I also contacted Mom. It seemed better if they could come, Papa seemed less enthusiastic. At that time, it didn't necessarily mean that Papa was going to leave, but at least if his wife and children were there, he might be more enthusiastic. When Ari came, it was still quite good," she continued.

2. Condition of the Father Has Declined

Meanwhile, Ari Wibowo said that when he came to see his father's condition, he was already weak until the evening and his condition continued to decline.

"Yes, so when I came with the children in the afternoon, coincidentally the three of us were going to have lunch together, then we went to Bangka's house, Ira's house, Papa was still giving a thumbs up, still smiling, but once the smile was over, not long after he became weak again, weak and sleepy, then (holding) his hand 'Papa' no reaction, but still breathing. So, oh, he's going to rest again. We met, then we still had things to do so I left. At night, I was called, so I came back immediately but Ira also just arrived," explained Ari Wibowo.

"It's already unclear, it seems like his body is still warm, but he doesn't react anymore. And his chest doesn't move anymore. We have tried to call a doctor," added Ira Wibowo.

3. Passing Away Peacefully

Ari Wibowo and Ira Wibowo also revealed that their father passed away peacefully without feeling any pain and surrounded by their beloved family.

"But he left very peacefully, in his sleep there was no pain, surrounded by people he loved, with Mother at home, we also came right away, luckily we had the chance to meet in the afternoon, also kissed Ira, hugged each other," said Ari Wibowo.

"It was very easy and in the end, he always said 'I am happy in this life'. He lived with gratitude and truly felt happy," concluded Ira Wibowo.
