FIFA Introduces Official Mascot for the 2024 FIFA U-17 World Cup, Philosophy of the Indonesian One-Horned Rhinoceros

The Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) announced that the draw for the group stage of the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2023 will be held in Zurich, Switzerland, on September 15, 2023, at 21:00 WIB.

Zurich is the location of FIFA's headquarters, which has only two levels above ground but also has five levels below.

PSSI requested an explanation from FIFA as to why the drawing for the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2023 is not taking place in Indonesia as the host country.

"The FIFA U-17 World Cup 2023 drawing will be held in Zurich at 21:00 WIB. As for the reason, don't ask us, ask FIFA," said Sumardji, the Chairman of the National Team Body (BTN), in Jakarta on Thursday (31/8/2023).

The FIFA U-17 World Cup 2023 will be held in Indonesia from November 10 to December 2, 2023, in four stadiums, starting with the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), North Jakarta.
