Kapanlagi.com - Producer Agustinus Sitorus funded Kenny Gulardi's debut as a feature film director. Not holding back, Kenny presented a horror concept titled PERJAMUAN IBLIS which immediately made Agustinus unable to refuse.
"I used to save stories. When I met Mr. Agus, I pitched this story and he immediately approved it. It was like too good to be true, he immediately said yes, asked me to write the screenplay. It was that simple," said Kenny when met at Epicentrum, Rasuna Said area, South Jakarta, on Monday (6/11).
"He had previously made several short films for me. Then I said, 'You will be my first feature film director'. He said, 'Are you serious, Sir? Don't just make me happy'. Finally, I made it happen," added Agustinus on the same occasion.

In writing the story PERJAMUAN IBLIS (The Devil's Feast), Kenny Gulardi admitted to being inspired after seeing Leonardo Da Vinci's painting The Last Supper. Agustinus Sitorus was interested in the story presented by Kenny.
"When he told the story so well, I couldn't refuse, I immediately scheduled us to shoot. I asked him to quickly write the script," said Agustinus.
"This idea came randomly when I was looking at social media and saw Leonardo Da Vinci's painting. From that painting, there are three keywords that describe my film, which are feast, betrayal, and sacrifice. I then crafted these three words," explained Kenny.

When writing the script for PERJAMUAN IBLIS (The Devil's Feast), on one of the drafts, Kenny Gulardi immediately thought of inviting Putri Ayudya. Agustinus Sitorus agreed and immediately started looking for the right schedule for Putri.
"I remember the first response after I read the final draft before looking for cast members, I asked, 'Which character is extraordinary this time? Who is suitable?'. Kenny immediately said, 'It has to be Putri Ayudya, Sir'. That's why I immediately asked the team to chase after Putri Ayudya," explained Agustinus Sitorus.
