For Dinda Hauw, who has long been associated with the image of drama and family roles, this project is a highly anticipated challenge.

She admits she has wanted to test her abilities in the horror genre for a long time. This decision was made for several strong reasons that made her confident in accepting the offer.

"Because it's interesting, right? First, the story is good. Second, we get to act together here. I have mostly done dramas and family films, so I really want to know what it feels like to act in a horror movie," said Dinda Hauw when met in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (28/10/2025).

The shooting process under the direction of a foreign director provides a unique experience for Dinda and Rey. Dinda feels there is a significant difference in the working methods, especially in the filming techniques, that she has never experienced before in domestic film productions.

"So I forgot, what is it that makes the difference, right, besides that. For me personally, it's just the way of working that is quite different. Maybe the shoots, for example, here we already memorize it, right? Oh yes, for instance like this and that, even though there are still differences between films and dramas," explained Dinda.

Rey Mbayang added that besides technical aspects, another challenge comes from communication. Although everyone understands each other, differences in technical terms or expressions between the Indonesian crew and foreign directors sometimes require more time for discussion.

"Actually, for the language barrier, we both understand each other, but sometimes there are terms that we use that are different from theirs. If we might have something in Indonesia that is like, this is just like annoyed, you know. Well, that sometimes makes us need more time for discussion," said Rey Mbayang.
