Fiki Naki Nervous in 'Paket Santet', Pressured to Act with Yasamin

Kapanlagi.com - Fiki Naki shared his thrilling experience from his acting debut through the horror film PAKET SANTET produced by BASE Entertainment. Known as a content creator and YouTuber, he had to adapt to the rhythm of film production and the demands of acting in front of the camera. The pressure was even more intense because he was acting alongside a lineup of experienced actors, including Yasamin Jasem.

"Do you know? You’re excited but on the other hand you’re really nervous, you feel a lot of pressure like that. Why? Because his friends have often acted together, especially Yasamin, you could say the Queen of Horror movies in Indonesia. And I have to act alongside them, this is just insane. There’s pressure, there’s nervousness," said Fiki Naki when met at CGV Grand Indonesia, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (18/8/2026).

1. Acting Debut and Pressure from Co-stars

PAKET SANTET is Fiki Naki's first feature film project. The transition from the YouTube world to the film set required him to quickly adapt, from working on location to maintaining consistent expressions in front of the camera, which is different from his usual content creation.

In this film, Fiki plays Firza, one of seven students who are terrorized through a witchcraft package. Firza is portrayed as a laid-back character, but this trait becomes a problem when a series of terror starts haunting him and his friends.

Nervousness arises because his co-star is already familiar with the horror genre. The name Yasamin Jasem, who Fiki associates with Indonesian horror films, adds to the mental burden at the beginning of the shooting process. This situation presents a new challenge in Fiki's journey as an actor.

2. Learning the Shooting Rhythm, Key Scenes on the Last Day

The initial pressure made Fiki focus on getting accustomed to the working environment on set. He took the opportunity to observe the shooting rhythm, the dynamics of the team on location, and how his fellow actors built the scenes, before entering the most crucial moments of the story.

"But fortunately, this is very clever, I don't know if it's BASE or maybe Ms. Dina, who placed the scene that might be the most important at the end of the shooting day. So I was already accustomed to the shooting rhythm, with the shooting environment, which ultimately made it easier for me to perform on the last day," said Fiki Naki.

This experience became an important lesson about the acting process. Fiki admitted he had some difficulties during the screen test when asked to convey fear only through facial expressions. Director Dinna Jasanti then provided a different approach so that Fiki's acting felt more natural, while also helping him channel emotions according to the needs of the scene.

3. Story Content of the Santet Package and Release Date

The SANTET PACKAGE follows the story of seven students, namely Deva, Bela, Celia, Ale, Firza, Glen, and Kiki, who become targets of terror through a mysterious package. Over time, they realize that the terror is closely related to the past and someone who holds a grudge.

In addition to presenting horror, this film raises issues of unresolved wounds and the impact of bullying in everyday life. Previously, Fatih Unru mentioned that the SANTET PACKAGE made him rethink how jokes or actions that are considered trivial can leave long-lasting scars for others.

Directed by Dinna Jasanti, this film is written by Obe Karel, Titien Wattimena, and Ambaridzki Ramadhantyo, and produced by Shanty Harmayn, Aoura Lovenson Chandra, and Tanya Yuson. The SANTET PACKAGE will be screened in theaters starting August 27, 2026.
