Film "KOMA, STOP BEFORE DEATH", Presents a Mystery Adventure Amidst the Beauty of Mount Dempo

Kapanlagi.com - The production house Troy Star Pictures will soon release its latest film titled Koma, Stop Before Death, a mystery work directed by Kin Jun. This film tells the story of three teenagers trapped in a room of adventure full of mystery, set against the beautiful panorama of Mount Dempo, South Sumatra.

Kin Jun, the director, explained that the stunning natural setting is a unique feature of this film.

“This film offers an adventure and a unique story wrapped in the aesthetic panorama of Mount Dempo, South Sumatra (which) makes it very interesting and different,” said Kin Jun at a press conference in Jakarta recently.

One of the main actors, Emiliano Fernando Cortizo, shared his challenging shooting experience.

"A lot of our time was spent in the tea factory, where we encountered many (mystical things), if we met ghosts there were many, in the villa there were also many damages, quite a lot," Emiliano revealed, highlighting the mystical atmosphere he felt during filming.

Meanwhile, Nadya Yasmien, who also stars in this film, admitted to facing difficulties while playing her role in the mystery drama genre film.

“So it was really rarely visited by people, during the cold takes and there were a lot of wounds. It’s not just our acting emotions that we control but the conditions and all factors,” said Nadya, revealing how tough the conditions were at the remote filming location.

The film Koma, Stop Before Dying tells the story of three friends who are on vacation in a village and capturing their moments in a vlog.

However, their peaceful vacation turns into chaos when strange things start happening the next day.

In the story, they also meet a mysterious man who gradually breaks apart their friendship.

In addition to Emiliano Fernando Cortizo and Nadya Yasmien, the film also stars Andi Viola and Robert Chaniago Timor. The film is scheduled to be released in Indonesian cinemas on October 31, 2024.
