Gala Premiere RANGGA & CINTA with Movieverse, Rewatching AADC for Gen Z

Kapanlagi.com - You must be familiar with the film ADA APA DENGAN CINTA (AADC). This film, released in 2002, has become a classic for film enthusiasts and successfully launched Nicholas Saputra and Dian Sastrowardoyo as popular actors.

AADC tells the story of high school romance that begins with a poetry writing competition. The competition interestingly brings together two contrasting characters, Cinta, who is the head of the school bulletin board, and Rangga, who is a loner.

Now, this classic story returns with a Gen Z twist. The film RANGGA & CINTA has successfully captured the attention of film lovers in Indonesia by taking the audience back to the 2000s setting. RANGGA CINTA not only invites nostalgia but also presents a fresh musical genre.

The presence of talented young stars El Putra Sarira (who plays Rangga) and Leya Princy (who plays Cinta) also adds to the appeal of this film, which is also produced by Nicholas Saputra. The enthusiasm from the audience can be seen in the lively atmosphere of the Gala Premiere held on September 29 at Epicentrum XXI.

Many positive comments were given by 15 Movieverse members who were also invited to the colorful Gala Premiere event. The film officially premiered in theaters across the country on October 2, 2025, successfully evoking the memories of the audience's teenage years, nostalgia for the love and friendship stories of high school students.

The Love Gang is back with new cast members.

From left to right, Kyandra Sembel (Maura), Katyana Mawira (Milly), Jasmine Nadya (Alya), and Danielle Tumiwa (Karmen) will revive the Love Gang in RANGGA & CINTA. The chemistry between the four of them with Leya Princi is something we should look forward to. Moreover, their story will now be presented in a musical version.
