Kiesha Alvaro and Ratu Sofya Involved in the Film 'SIKSA NERAKA', Claimed to Have Read the Comic Since Elementary School

Kapanlagi.com - Young stars Kiesha Alvaro and Ratu Sofya are involved in the film SIKSA NERAKA, which is adapted from the legendary comic by MB Rahimsyah. They are cast as siblings in the horror film directed by Anggy Umbara.

For a scene, they had to shoot in a river with fast-flowing water. During the filming process, Kiesha, who has asthma, had an asthma attack.

"We were shooting all day in the river until my asthma acted up because it had just rained and the water level was high, plus there was artificial rain. So it was very cold," Kiesha said in an interview with KapanLagi.com, recently.

"If I wasn't sick, I would have just gotten scratched by the rocks," added Ratu on the same occasion.

1. Not Stopping Shooting

Although asthma flared up due to the cold, Kiesha Alvaro did not ask to stop shooting. Apparently, she was already prepared with medicine that she always takes when it flares up.

"Shooting continues because I am also prepared with medicine. The shooting is quite long and troublesome because it is taken from several angles," explained Kiesha.

2. Knowing the Existence of the Hell Punishment Comic

Although they belong to Gen Z, Kiesha Alvaro and Ratu Sofya grew up reading the comic Siksa Neraka. Therefore, when offered to be involved in the film adaptation, they did not refuse, but were actually excited about it.

"Even though we're Gen Z, but we've been reading it since we were kids," said Ratu.

"There used to be someone selling it in front of the school for a thousand rupiah. Suddenly getting an offer for the film reminded me of my childhood. This film emphasizes the story to remind and give an example of the consequences when humans commit sins. It's not just a plain comic. If we don't wear clothes, it won't be a horror film later," said Kiesha.
