Kep1er is a group from the survival show GIRLS PLANET 99. From 99 participants from 3 countries (Korea, Japan, and China), 9 members were selected (Chaehyun, Bahiyyih, Yujin, Dayeon, Youngeun, Yeseo, Hikaru, Mashiro, and Xiaoting).
They postponed their debut in December 2021 due to COVID-19. Kep1er successfully released their debut album titled FIRST IMPACT on January 3, 2022.
The song 'WA DA DA', which is the title track of the album FIRST IMPACT, successfully achieved 3 wins at South Korean music shows, and helped them become one of the popular groups in South Korea.
Kep1er participated in the program 'QUEENDOM 2' which received both support and criticism from fans, as Kep1er had just participated in a survival show. Fans wanted Kep1er to focus solely on their comeback activities.
After success with their first album, Kep1er has finally released their second album titled 'DOUBLAST'. Containing 5 songs, this album carries a cheerful summer concept.
The title track 'DOUBLAST' titled 'UP' successfully achieved 1 win at a South Korean music show.
In December 2022, Kep1er successfully made their debut with their Japanese album titled 'FLY-UP'.
A month after their debut in Japan, Kep1er released their third Korean album titled 'TROUBLESHOOTER', and performed the song 'WE FRESH' for a music show appearance.
Entering the year 2023, Kep1er released their second Japanese album 'FLY-BY', and continued their comeback with the fourth album titled 'LOVESTRUCK'.
In the second half of 2023, Kep1er released the album 'MAGIC HOUR', and their third Japanese album titled 'FLY-HIGH' was also just released on November 22, 2023.
