Leya Princy & El Putra Sarira Reveal Impressions of Shooting with Riri Riza & Mira Lesmana in 'RANGGA & CINTA'

Kapanlagi.com - The film RANGGA & CINTA, which has premiered at the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) 2025, will be released simultaneously in cinemas across the country on October 2. The performance of Leya Princy & El Putra Sarira as Cinta & Rangga is the most awaited by Indonesian film lovers.

In a Roundtable session at the KapanLagi office some time ago, Leya & El shared their impressions from the set of this remake of ADA APA DENGAN CINTA (AADC) with two big names, Riri Riza & Mira Lesmana.

Leya Princy mentioned that she gained many valuable lessons from these two big names in the Indonesian film industry. However, being directed by Riri Riza & Mira Lesmana brought its own pressure for her.

"I know that many of my friends in the entertainment industry really want to work with Mas Riri. There are many lessons I can learn from here, it feels like school. The knowledge I gain here is quite valuable, you could say, rare. But there’s pressure, definitely pressure for this movie, to make it as good as possible," said Leya Princy.

El Putra Sarira mentioned that he became more driven when working with those two big names. The man born in 2003 transforms pressure into his best actions on screen.

"If there’s pressure, if the pressure from Ms. Mira and Mr. Riri is actually not pressure that weighs on us, but rather it feels like within ourselves we must do well," said El Putra Sarira.
