Claresta Taufan stated that she has many reasons that make her determined to be involved in the film PANGKU.
"So if I were to be asked what attracted me, there are so many factors. The character of Sartika itself is very complex, and the story here is also very complex. Every character in this film has their own story," Claresta said.
Claresta also did not deny that Reza Rahadian, who is known as a perfectionist in his work, is one of the reasons she participated in the casting.
"Additionally, this is the first project for brother Reza, where brother Reza always gives 100 percent here, over 1000 percent in my opinion. And this is the first time I am undertaking a drama film project, and so on. So when I was casting, whether it was the second, third, fourth, or fifth time, I would come back, I would keep auditioning to get this film role.
On the other hand, Reza Rahadian, who chose Claresta through casting, stated that the karate athlete is a potential talent who will become a big name in the film industry of the homeland.
"Well for me, seeing Claresta today and from the time I found her casting results, I can only say this. If she is serious, focused, highly dedicated, and consistent, she will be the future of Indonesian cinema," replied Reza.
