In the near future, Bayu Skak's latest film titled Sekawan Limo will be released in theaters. This film combines the horror genre with a touch of drama and unique comedy.
When interviewed at Kapanlagi Youniverse, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday afternoon (26/6), Dono Pradana shared the preparations made for filming Sekawan Limo.
They all conducted research to ensure that all mountain climbing regulations were not violated. They even went directly to the location.
"Soal gunung bayu emang sempat nanya, tim juga ngumpulin beberapa anak gunung untuk diajak sharing dan bahkan sampai naik ke lokasi juga buat ngasih tau spot mana yang akan dipakai syuting," ungkap Dono Pradana.
"Misal pendaki kalau di tengah perjalanan kayak kebelet lokasi buang airnya dimana, istirahat di mana terus tempat yang baik buat mendirikan tenda dimana," lanjutnya.
Pada kesempatan yang sama, Bayu menjelaskan karena setiap daerah memiliki peraturan, pantangan, serta mitos yang berbeda,
"Gunung kita sepakati fiktif, karena kan tiap tempat berbeda, dari pada kami ditakutkan memberi efek jelek buat gunung yang kami daki akhirnya kami sepakat itu," ujar Bayu Skak.
Dono also added that the selection of mountains for shooting locations is something they pay close attention to. Considering the unpredictable weather that can hinder the shooting process.
"Why choose there because the rainfall is little but still muddy, when we were shooting it rained, during lunch it didn't rain, during shooting breaks it didn't rain but instead it was hot, so there were many improvisations in the end," Dono added.
In addition, Indra Pramujito, as one of the actors, mentioned that he had never tried shooting in such a location before.
Indra admitted that he got sick for a week after shooting. But fortunately, during the shooting process, nothing strange happened.
"Because I've never climbed a mountain before, I got sick for a week, but luckily nothing like that happened even though we were shooting a horror film. There were no mystical things happening," Indra concluded.
