Prilly Latuconsina's Dilemma Promoting the Film 'DANUR: THE LAST CHAPTER' Approaching Eid, Cooking Rendang Task at Risk

As one of the busiest actresses in Indonesia, Prilly Latuconsina is faced with a promotional schedule for her latest horror film, DANUR: THE LAST CHAPTER, which coincides with the Eid moment.

Every year, Prilly has a special responsibility assigned by her extended family, which is to cook rendang in large quantities.

However, seeing the very intensive work schedule to make her latest film a success, she feels uncertain whether the cooking tradition can go on as usual.

"Well, I'm confused about this Eid. Because my film is being released during Eid. Meanwhile, I have the task of cooking rendang for Eid," said Prilly Latuconsina in the Thamrin area, Central Jakarta, on Monday (12/1/2026).

"So can I cook a lot of Rendang for Eid? Because there will definitely be promotions for Danur too, right," added Prilly.

Prilly realizes that as the main actor, her presence in various cinemas to greet the audience is something that must be done.

She can only hope that amidst the exhausting promotional activities, she still has a little free time to spend with her beloved family.

"And it seems like this Danur promotion will be really heavy and will take up a lot of time. So I don't know how it will be during Eid, hopefully I can still find time for family even though there is work," she said.

Although her work schedule often clashes with national holidays or major celebrations, Prilly feels very grateful because her parents have a very high level of understanding.

The full support from her family is Prilly's mainstay in pursuing a career in the entertainment world, which is full of time demands. Her parents have never protested even though their child is rarely home during important moments.

"Alhamdulillah my parents are used to it. Because initially, when I was shooting a soap opera, it was even worse not being able to meet them," said Prilly.

For Prilly, the trust given by her family is a valuable asset to remain professional at work. As long as she can prove the quality of her work and deliver results that make them proud, her parents will always give their blessing.

"So they are used to it if on celebration days I am busy. Because, you know, working in the entertainment world means that sometimes there are jobs we have to do on those celebration days. So my parents really understand. The important thing is that they see the work is there and they can watch it too," concluded Prilly Latuconsina.
