Ready to Show in Theaters, 'SI JUKI THE MOVIE: MONKEY ISLAND TREASURE' Involves Many Famous Stars as Voice Actors

Kapanlagi.com - The character Juki created by Faza Meonk is back in the form of an animated film for the big screen. This time it is titled SI JUKI THE MOVIE: MONKEY ISLAND TREASURE which is ready to be shown in the fourth week of June.

The first film released seven years ago received various responses. Apparently, the public's reaction was taken as a learning material by Faza as the scriptwriter and director to improve the plot of this story even better.

"The plot of the first film was quite heavy to be watched by all ages, in the second film, we consciously made it enjoyable for all ages, for families. So we created a fun, light, and funny plot. Unlike the first film that was convoluted. We learned from the first film," said Faza when met in Sudirman, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (5/6/2024).

1. Imagining Who the Voice Actors Are

The movie SI JUKI THE MOVIE: HARTA PULAU MONYET involves many well-known names as voice actors. Faza Meonk said that since writing the screenplay, he has been imagining who will play the characters.

"Since the first time I wrote the screenplay, I started imagining who would play each character. For example, for this dialogue, I felt it would be suitable if Indra Jegel delivered it, so we adjusted it from the script. But this only applies to a few characters," added Faza.

2. Reason for Late June Release

SI JUKI THE MOVIE: HARTA PULAU MONYET is set to be released simultaneously in theaters on June 27, 2024. The choice to release it at the end of the month was intentional because it coincides with school holidays.

"We chose to release it on June 27 because it's during the school holidays. This film is targeted for families, so that children and families can watch it together," explained Frederica, the producer, on the same occasion.
