"If someone asks what's next, the answer is in the eighth episode of TIRA. So it must be watched until the end," said Joko, encountered at Empire XXI, Yogyakarta, Wednesday (29/11/2023).

Previously, there were many rumors circulating about the future of the ambitious Bumilangit Cinematic Universe project after SRI ASIH and VIRGO AND THE SPARKLINGS were deemed to lack public enthusiasm. Because of that, Joko Anwar asked the public to just wait and see what he will do.

"Bumilangit has many characters, so wait and see. If the response is warm, of course, we will continue. Because when we create something, we have to see if there is a lot of interest or not," said Joko.

2. Enthusiasm When There are Many Fans

Furthermore, Joko Anwar said that if there are many people enthusiastic about the continuation of the Bumilangit Cinematic Universe, he and his team will also be more enthusiastic. Especially in gathering the best resources.

"If there are many (fans), we can gather resources and create it with enthusiasm," said the filmmaker born in Medan.
