Returning to Acting, Ranty Maria Gains New Experience in '4 MANTAN'

Kapanlagi.com - After taking a break to continue her studies in Korea, actress Ranty Maria is back in the world of acting by starring in soap operas and films. One of the latest films she stars in is 4 MANTAN.

In the film directed by Hanny R Saputra, the former girlfriend of Ammar Zoni plays the role of Rara, an introverted and mysterious woman.

"Yes, coincidentally this is my first film, and I honestly am very happy, it exceeded my expectations," said Ranty Maria during the press screening of the film 4 MANTAN in Jakarta on Monday night (17/2).

1. Play Different Characters

Playing the role of Rara, born on April 26, 1999, she admits to getting new challenges and experiences. Because, she is required to be someone very different from her daily life and also a character she has never played before, both in soap operas and films.

"Hmmm it's difficult because I'm not allowed to smile a lot, be cheerful, just flat. This is a new and enjoyable experience, I have never shot in such a quiet atmosphere, at night," she said.

2. Thriller Genre Film

4 EXES is a thriller genre film that tells the story of Alex (Jeff Smith). He has four ex-girlfriends, Sara (Ranty Maria), Rachel (Melayu Nicole), Amara (Dennira Indraguna), and Airin.

One day, the four women accidentally meet due to one event, namely the news of Alex's death. They meet in a mournful atmosphere.

However, there is a suspicious incident regarding Alex's death. Alex apparently was murdered and the killer is one of his 4 ex-girlfriends. Who killed Alex? This film, produced by Raffi Film, is scheduled to be released in theaters starting from February 20, 2020.
