Scene of a Cut Tongue Makes the Trailer of 'SIKSA NERAKA' More Captivating

Kapanlagi.com - The trailer for the film SIKSA NERAKA was finally released on Thursday, November 30, 2023, before the film is screened in theaters in the homeland on December 14, 2023. In the teaser trailer and poster of Siksa Neraka, at least 6 types of painful punishments can be seen.

These punishments include eyes being gouged, back being ironed, bitten by a scorpion, tongue being nailed, tongue being sawed, and hand being sawed. Apparently, these six punishments are not all, because in the trailer, another iconic punishment appears, which is the tongue being cut.

"Certainly comic fans will not forget the depiction of a cut tongue. What sin causes the tongue to be cut? All the answers are in the film Siksa Neraka," wrote Anggy Umbara, the director, in a release received by kapanlagi.com.

This film produced by Dee Company features Kiesha Alvaro, Ratu Sofya, Astri Nurdin, Ariyo Wahab, Rizky Fachrel, Nayla D. Purnama, and Slamet Raharjo. It is not a joke, the film spent approximately IDR 5 billion for CGI production costs, including the film that required the most editing costs.

"Visual hell requires a detailed touch, because we want to provide shock therapy for the audience. Almost all the terrible torment in the comic, visualized into a film," said Producer Dheeraj Kalwani.

"Perhaps the most difficult part of its creation is when the inhabitants of hell are thrown into a sea of lava, and are killed and eaten by giant poisonous animals," continued Dheeraj Kalwani.

One of the actors, Kiesha Alvaro, expressed her enthusiasm for the film SIKSA NERAKA which is her first film this year.

"The audience's enthusiasm for this film is the same as my enthusiasm for the screening of the film Siksa Neraka," she concluded.

2. Tells the Story of 4 Siblings

The film SIKSA NERAKA tells the story of four siblings, Saleh (Rizky Fachrel), Fajar (Kiesha Alvaro), Tyas (Ratu Sofya), and Azizah (Nayla Purnama). Since childhood, they have heard stories about heaven and hell.

They were raised strictly by their father (Ariyo Wahab), a respected young preacher in the village. One night, on their way to a neighboring village without their parents' knowledge, Saleh and his siblings were swept away by a strong river current and disappeared.

Saleh then wakes up in another realm, the hell that his father always talked about. A search is conducted in the world to find the father's children, whether alive or dead. One by one, secrets are revealed, making the father and mother (Astri Nurdin) question whether they have equipped their children enough.

In hell, Saleh and the others also search for each other, while facing greater torment for the sins they have hidden all this time.
