Shooting Omnibus 'QUARANTINE TALES' Implements Strict Protocols, Maintains Distance - There is Evidence of Negative Tests from the Hospital!

The film that will be aired on the online cinema streaming service showcases five stories of various genres from five different directors. From senior directors like Ifa Isfansyah, Jason Iskandar, Aco Tenri, Sidharta Tata to Dian Sastrowardoyo's directorial debut.

Due to shooting during the pandemic, many new things have been adjusted by the five directors. One of the main things is implementing health protocols.

"The protocols are quite strict because we shoot in a small rented house. When taking a shot, the entire crew wears masks. After the cut, they immediately leave. We can't gather, be close together, try to follow the usual shooting flow but with strict protocols," said Aco Tenri, who leads the segment HAPPY GIRLS DON'T CRY during a press conference via Zoom on Wednesday (16/12/2020).

1. Proof of Negative Test

Meanwhile, at the shooting location of the NOUGAT segment, which marks Dian Sastrowardoyo's directorial debut, her team not only implements a three-ring system, but they are also required to have a confirmation letter stating that their bodies are in a negative condition from the hospital.

"During the shooting, we were very disciplined. I have a strict director, so if the crew hasn't taken a swab test, they are not allowed to enter the first ring. So we created the first ring, the second ring, and the third ring. All departments must show their negative statement before entering. That's how disciplined we are, even though we have taken the swab test, we still wear masks. I'm very happy to work with a team that prioritizes health. The crew and actors enjoy working together because we know that everyone there is prioritizing their own health and safety," said Dian in detail.

2. Cheap Tickets Sold to Reduce Piracy

QUARANTINE TALES will be released on Online Cinema starting this Friday (18/12/2020). The tickets themselves have already been on sale since Wednesday (16/12/2020) for only IDR 10,000. The directors, actors, and crew behind the scenes hope that with this low price, it can reduce the level of piracy.

"The success of a content is clearly measured by appreciation, because the determination of a work is not separate from the audience. And the ticket sales result, because from these ticket sales, we can create new works. We hope people don't watch pirated versions because it affects this ecosystem," said Ajeng Parameswari, representing the Online Cinema.
