Ody Mulya Hidayat, Producer of Max Pictures, said that the film's release was delayed - it was supposed to be released in July 2020, due to the pandemic. This film, starring Yasmin Napper and Indah Kusuma, will be different from typical Indonesian films. Besides featuring a colorful romance of young people, it will also be combined with advanced technology that is predicted to exist in Indonesia in 2045.
"So it's not just fiction (the technology in the film WHAT'S LOVE IN 2045?). What possibilities are expected in 2045? Especially since Telkom is known for its technology company, we will present this film with a technology design wrapped in romance," said Ody.

Ody admits that this film directed by Indra Gunawan has a quite high level of difficulty, especially considering the condition of Indonesia in 2045, so it's understandable that it took a year to make.
Because the film APA ADA CINTA 2045? has a technology theme, the audience will be spoiled by the presence of CGI that is extensively applied in this film. Ody even said that this film will use CGI up to 80 percent.
"Everything has CGI because, to some extent, we can say that the set is cheating in Australia in several places, which I think is sophisticated to design," said Ody.
He added that the cost of making this film is quite expensive because of its unique technology and design. Ody Mulya Hidayat mentioned that the film APA ADA CINTA 2045? is relevant to the technological development in Indonesia. Just like the current situation, many industries are moving to digital.
