Kapanlagi.com - Syakir Daulay is grateful that his film titled IMAM TANPA MAKMUM is finally finished. Syakir said that it was not easy to work on a film at his young age. Moreover, in this film, Syakir acted as the producer, director, and also the cast.
"Syakir is grateful, everything is mixed up in making this film. It's definitely not easy, especially for a feature film," said Syakir Daulay at Cinema XXI Senayan City, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (26/9/2023).
"I don't know what to say, but I feel relieved. After this, whether God will bless Syakir in the film or elsewhere. Syakir just wants to create. Alhamdulillah, at the age of 21, entered 21 (cinemas)," added Syakir Daulay.
Syakir also felt the support of his family for this film produced by Syakir Films. When releasing the official trailer for the film IMAM TANPA MAKMUM, both of his parents were present to give encouragement.

"While there is heaven here, there is a mother, Syakir asks for direct prayers. Usually a mother's prayer is answered. Yesterday, my mother's prayer was watched by 10 million," said Syakir.
M. Hasan Daulay, Syakir's father, hopes that his son's career in the film industry will continue to improve. Syakir's latest film, which is now officially the youngest director in Indonesia, can also find a place in the hearts of film enthusiasts.
"We pray that with this film, it can inspire young people. I hope Syakir will be more successful in the future, and this film can reach 10 million viewers," Hasan concluded.
The film IMAM TANPA MAKMUM tells the story of a man named Imam, who is looking for a partner. In his search, Imam meets Naira, a woman who has a shelter for street children and becomes a sex worker to meet her needs. This condition is what makes Imam's mother not approve of her son's relationship.
In addition to Syakir Daulay, the romantic comedy film IMAM TANPA MAKMUM also stars Vonny Felicia, Cut Mini, Lukman Sardi, Rayisa Nayla Salwaa, Arif Brata, and many others. This film is scheduled to start screening in theaters on October 19, 2023.
