Telan Biaya Mahal, Film 'PANGGONAN WINGIT' Ready to Haunt Horror Lovers

"(The production cost) is expensive because it has to adjust to the time," said Rocky Soraya in the Senayan area, Jakarta, on Friday (24/11/2023), without mentioning the specific cost he spent on producing the film PANGGONAN WINGIT.

Shooting for one and a half months in Semarang and Bandung, said Rocky, also made this film expensive.

"For the producer, it's expensive because they have to stay in Semarang for a long time," said Rocky Soraya.

Nevertheless, Rocky Soraya is satisfied with the result. He also hopes that the audience will like the latest film from Hitmaker Studios, which will be released in theaters starting from November 30, 2023.

2. Based on a True Story

The film PANGGONAN WINGIT is based on a true story of a haunted hotel in Semarang that has rooms without numbers. Anyone who opens the door of a room without a number will see a white-skinned and white-haired woman, and their life will not be spared.

"This is based on a story in Semarang. They say the ghost is like that. We tried to get as close as possible to the existing story," said Rocky Soraya.

3. Film Synopsis

The story begins with Raina (Luna Maya) inheriting an old hotel from her father. The unexpected inheritance turns out to hold secrets and dark mysteries, one of which is the existence of a haunted place in the hotel believed to be inhabited by a white-haired and white-faced figure.

Terror from the unseen entity haunts Raina's days after she opens the door and enters a room without a number in the hotel managed with her sister, Fey (Bianca Hello).

Raina and Fei's lives are in danger. They only have three days to survive. Raina, along with her ex-boyfriend, Ardo (Christian Sugiono), who is a journalist, tries to find a way to stay alive. Will they be able to escape death?
